We all have busy, crazy lives and eating out helps save some time while we’re running around but it can add up fast. When I work with clients and they are trying to save money, one of the first tips I give them is to not order a beverage when they eat out. Order water instead. Yes, Yes, water! It’s good for you and you’d be surprised at how much you can save by changing one small thing. A non-alcoholic beverage can run around $2.99 and alcoholic much more. On average, Americans eat about 18 meals out and for a family of 4 that means you spend $215 a month or $2,500 a year. If you switch to water you could save $215 a month or $2,500. That is awesome! So start drinking water and starting saving money!
